A new festival celebrates Ireland's many voices

A weekend festival in Galway will bring together writers, musicians and storytellers working in more than a dozen languages.

Organisers describe it as a portrait of modern Ireland — one where a poem in Ukrainian can share a stage with a ballad in Irish and a rap in Portuguese.

Tickets are free, with performances translated live so every audience member can follow along.
