GPs pilot multilingual health advice across the midlands

A network of family doctors in the midlands has begun handing out health advice in the ten languages most spoken by their patients.

The leaflets, covering everything from childhood vaccines to winter flu, are printed alongside plain-English versions so families can read together.

Doctors say the simple change has already cut missed appointments and made consultations clearer for everyone.
